Resumen de El estudio del fútbol ¿un ámbito periférico para la antropología en México?

El fútbol es el deporte de mayor difusión en México. En modernos estadios o en la calle constituye la actividad que moviliza mayores pasiones entre las personas y si bien posee conexiones con otros campos de la realidad social, su estudio ha pasado desapercibido para las ciencias sociales locales. Este olvido, sin embargo, contrasta con la abundancia informativa de los medios de comunicación que han logrado monopolizar la palabra y el sentido de este campo.
El presente trabajo inicia con una breve síntesis del acontecer académico en Latinoamérica; luego da cuenta de la bibliografía producida en México y concluye con una exposición de las posibles líneas de investigación que el tema ofrece a las ciencias sociales. De esta forma, buscaremos presentar a los deportes, y al fútbol en particular, como un territorio inexplorado que, dada sus múltiples interrelaciones, reserva a la mirada antropológica una visión singular de la sociedad mexicana.

The soccer is the sport of more diffusion in Mexico. In modern stadiums or in the street, it constitutes the activity that mobilizes bigger passions. And although it possesses connections with other fields of the social reality, their study has passed desapercibido for the local social sciences. This forgetfulness, however, contrasts with the informative abundance of the media that you/they have been able to monopolize the word and the sense of this field. The present work begins with a brief synthesis of happening academic in Latin America; then the bibliography is revised taken place in Mexico and you concludes with an exhibition of the possible investigation lines that this field offers to the social sciences. This way, we will look for to present to the sports, and to the soccer in particular, as an unexplored territory that, given their multiple interrelations, he/she reserves to the anthropological look a singular vision of the Mexican society
