Resumen de Patrimonio urbano e historia. Propuesta didáctica

  Como respuesta al desinterés por la Historia detectado entre el alumnado universitario y vía para incentivar la innovación docente en la Didáctica de las Ciencias Sociales, ofrecemos una propuesta didáctica centrada en las posibilidades que, como recurso para el estudio de la Historia, brinda el patrimonio artístico existente en el entramado urbano de la ciudad en forma de creaciones escultóricas. Tal propuesta, basada sobre una metodología activainterdisciplinar, aporta un Mapa Conceptual indicativo de la contribución de la escultura al proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje del espacio urbano y de los principales resultados obtenidos. Entre ellos, cabe destacar cómo el monumento escultórico no solo descubre el espacio urbano y la ciudad, en un tiempo determinado, sino que la escultura, como imagen, abre múltiples campos de conocimiento y fomenta en el ser humano el interés para aprender en razón de una curiosidad que le lleva a interrogarse por lo que le rodea, mediante sus porqués y la causalidad que implica, revelando todo ello el propio mundo interior de sentimientos que, bien guiado, desemboca en un proceso de construcción creativo personal y único.

  In response to the detected disinterest by history among university students and way to encourage innovation in education in the teaching of the social sciences, is a proposed teaching focused on the possibilities offered as a resource applied to the study of the history, the artistic heritage existing in the urban framework of the city in the form of sculptural creations.

  Proposed teaching, based on a methodology active, interdisciplinary and meaningful, it provides a Conceptual map. From the presentation of the conceptual map, where we indicate the help provided by sculpture in the process of teaching and learning in urban space, we offer also the main results. And among them, notably as the sculptural monument not only discover us urban space and the city, in a particular historical moment, but that sculpture, in the form of image, open multiple fields of knowledge and encourages human curiosity to learn, by his own curiosity of wonder by what surrounds him, through their whys and causality that involves, where our own inner world of feelings that, well guided, leads to a creative process of construction reveals personal and unique.
