Desde hace años se ha apuntado la escasez de análisis descriptivos de las traducciones del árabe al español. En este artículo se ofrece un análisis de la traducción de la novela Badr Zamānihi, del escritor marroquí Mubarak Rabia, en la que se atienden tanto a la descripción del objeto y del proyecto de traducción como a la relación traductor-cliente, los condicionantes del encargo y del propio proyecto de traducción.

It has been suggested for years the lack of descriptive analyzes of translations from Arabic into Spanish. This article provides an analysis of the translation of the novel Badr Zamānihi by the Moroccan writer Mubarak Rabia which deals with both the description of the subject and the translation project, as well as the translator-client relationship, the constraints imposed by both the custom and the translation project itself.
