    The purpose of this study is, on the one hand, to shed light on the strictly historical aspects of the subject; to which end it will offer a deeper analysis of the mediaeval texts and documents that help to understand the protafonists of Llullism in this Andalusian mould, within the context in which they lived. On the other hand, from a philosophical point of view, there is need for better knowledge of the ideas that provide the essential structure of this chansonnier, this collection of verse. Indeed it is perhaps here that it may be seen more clearly how Llullian thought is related to a lay philosophical current that favours a reasoned Christianity over other approaches, closer to the ecclesiastical sector, such as the "contemptus mundi", asceticism or the sacerdotal way.

    Il presente studio persegue il duplice scopo, da una parte, di far luce sugli aspetti strettamente storici, dall'altra, di approfondire l'analisi di testi e documenti medievali cha permettano di comprendere i protagonista di questo lulismo di matrice andalusa e il contesto in cui essi sono vissuti. D'altra parte, da una prospettiva filosófica si rende necessaria una migliore comprensione delle idee che innervano la poesia del "Cancionero". In realtà, é forse qui, dove si vede più chiaramente como il pensiero di Lullo si collega con una corrente di pensiero filosófico di taglio laico che favorisce il cristinesimo ragionato, preferendolo ad altre posizioni maggiormente apprezzate in ámbito ecclesiastico, quali quelle espresse, ad esempio, dal "contemptus mundi", dalla via ascética o dalla via sacerdotale.
