Resumen de Identidad cultural de la eurorregión Andalucía/Algarve/Alentejo: tratamiento informativo en la prensa de Sevilla

  En este artículo analizamos el tratamiento que otorga la prensa de Sevilla a las regiones portuguesas Algarve y Alentejo en el período anterior a la constitución de la eurorregión Andalucía/Algarve/Alentejo para comprobar que su integración cultural no es una realidad paralela al acuerdo político-administrativo. Mediante el análisis de contenido estudiamos el papel de la prensa local en términos de mediación. Los resultados apuntan a que la frontera cultural se perpetúa en el tiempo. La imagen de las regiones portuguesas aparece desconectada de la realidad andaluza, si bien éstas están cada más presente a través de temas deportivos, sociales y culturales.

  In this paper, we analyze the treatment that the Sevillian press consents to the Portuguese regions Algarve and Alentejo, in the period before the constitution of Andalusia-Algarve-Alentejo euro-region to check that their cultural integration is not a parallel event to the political-administrative treat. We study the role of local press in terms of mediation through the content analysis. The results suggest that the cultural frontier is perpetuated over time. The image of the Portuguese regions is disconnected from Andalusian reality, although these regions are increasing their presence with the time through sports, social and culture topics
