Resumen de A direita radical brasileira no século XX: do monarquismo e das ligas nacionalistas ao fascismo e à ditadura militar (1889-2011)

the main objective of this paper is to present an overview of the history of Brazilian radical right since its emergence in the late nineteenth century until the present. the emphases of the text will be the integralism (the Brazilian version of fascism) and the period between the two world wars, but it will also address the periods before 1932 and after 1945. the presence of ideas and prac-tices of European fascisms in Brazil, their presence within the integralism and the continuities and changes in the course of this century will be specially emphasized.

o objetivo desse paper é apresentar uma panorama geral da história da direita radical brasileira desde o seu surgimento, no final do século xix, até o momento presente. as ênfases do texto serão o integralismo (a versão brasileira do fascismo) e o período entre as duas guerras mundiais, mas será feito também um recuo temporal desde o início da república, em 1889, e um avanço para abordar também o período entre 1945 e hoje. a presença das idéias e das práticas fascistas européias no Brasil, as trocas com o integralismo e as continuidades e mudanças no decorrer desse século serão especialmente enfatizadas.
