Este edificio, de porte catedralicio, tiene la particularidad que utiliza un lenguaje gótico, tanto en elementos constructivos como decorativos, a pesar de haberse construido en la segunda mitad del siglo XVII. Tras arruinarse el templo primitivo en 1636, se reconstruyó con posterioridad con el mismo estilo, en el momento de esplendor del Barroco.

This cathedral-like building is unusual in its Gothic style, both in construction and ornament, despite being built in the second half of the 17th century. The original church having fallen into ruins in 1636, the same style was used to reconstruct it, at the height of the Baroque period.
