Diseño, Aplicación y Evaluación de un Programa de Formación de Profesores Tutores de Prácticum de Centro Escolar, en la Carrera de Pedagogía en Historia y Ciencias Sociales de una Universidad Chilena

Abstract

[spa] La presente tesis doctoral se centra en el Diseño, Aplicación y Evaluación de un plan de formación para Profesores Tutores de prácticum de la carrera de pedagogía en Historia y Ciencias Sociales. Para ello, se realizó un estudio a partir de la revisión de la literatura especializada como del trabajo de campo. El objeto de estudio corresponde a los tutores de prácticum. Concretamente, la investigación corresponde a las necesidades formativas del mencionado colectivo, en virtud de la realización de una óptima tutorización de los estudiantes de prácticum. La tesis ha sido estructurada en cuatro partes: El marco teórico, el marco metodológico, los resultados y las conclusiones. En el caso del marco teórico, este contiene cuatro capítulos. El primer capítulo hace referencia a los aspectos relativos a la formación docente, el segundo capítulo da cuenta de los aspectos contextuales del prácticum. El tercer capítulo hace referencia al tutor y su importancia en el prácticum y el capítulo cuatro alude a los planes de formación: su diseño, aplicación y evaluación. La segunda parte de la tesis, está basada en el marco metodológico. En ella se presentan los objetivos perseguidos, se presenta el estudio como una investigación evaluativa desarrollado a través de la metodología cualitativa y se da cuenta de las estrategias de recogida de la información empleadas, justificando la elección y describiendo las fases para su creación, tanto de cuestionarios como de los guiones de las entrevistas y de los grupos de discusión. Además, se hace referencia a la elección de los informantes claves. Por último, se informa del desarrollo del trabajo de campo. En el tercer apartado, que se refiere a los resultados obtenidos, se ha dividido en dos capítulos. El capítulo siete, que se refiere al informe interpretativo del diseño del plan de formación de profesores tutores de prácticum. El capítulo ocho corresponde a la evaluación del plan de formación de profesores tutores de prácticum. Finalmente, en la cuarta parte se dan a conocer las conclusiones de la investigación, las cuales se orientan a partir de las temáticas emergentes más relevantes y muestran tanto las principales fortalezas que presentó el plan de formación y aquellos aspectos que deben ser mejorados. Por último, se presentan una serie de sugerencias en virtud de potenciar la figura del tutor de prácticum.

[eng] This thesis focuses on the design, implementation, and evaluation of a plan of formation of the practicum supervisors in the teaching major of History and Social Sciences. For this, a study was conducted from the review of the specialized field of work of literature. The object of study was the practicum supervisors. Specifically, the intend of this research was to respond appropriately to the training needs of the group mentioned (supervisor) in order to provide an optimal practicum setting for the students in question. The thesis has been structured into four parts: The theoretical framework, the methodological framework, the result, and conclusions. In this case, the theoretical framework contains four chapters. The first chapter refers to the aspects of teacher training, and the second chapter describes the contextual aspects of the practicum. The third chapter refers to supervisor teachers and their importance in the practicum, and the fourth chapter refers to the training plans: design, application and evaluation. The second part of the thesis is based on its methodology. This framework presents the objectives of this study, explains how this research is an evaluative study developed through qualitative methodology. Besides, it includes strategies employed to collect information, this justifies the choice of organization while describing the steps for creating both questionnaires and scripts for the interviews, as well as the focus groups. In addition, there are references to the choices of key informants. Finally, the development of the fieldwork is reported. In the third part, which refers to the results, has been divided into two chapters. Chapter seven, which refers to the interpretive report designed for the training plan for the practicum supervisors. Chapter eight is the evaluation of the training plan of the practicum supervisors. Following this is the fourth part, which reveals the findings of the research, that are derived from the most relevant and emerging issues to show both the main strengths that the training presents as well as the aspects that should be improved . Finally, suggestions are presented in order to fortify the role of the supervisor in the practicum.
