Abstract
El objeto de estudio de esta tesis doctoral es el análisis del feminicidio en México basado en la interrelación entre las formas tradicionales de violencia ejercida contra las mujeres y las formas contemporáneas que se desarrollan en un contexto social, político y económico neoliberal, así como la investigación de las prácticas políticas feministas creadas para contrarrestar dicha violencia. La tesis consta de cuatro capítulos: I. en el primer capitulo, se lleva a cabo una revisión histórico-crítica de la categoría de feminicidio para construir el marco teórico y visualizar el cambio metodológico que ha aportado la investigación feminista en el estudio de las violencias feminicidas. Además, se construyen y articulan dos categorías útiles para analizar el fenómeno: las ciudades Juárez contemporáneas y la rexistencia. II. En el segundo capitulo, se elaborar una propuesta metodológica feminista basada en la excavación arqueológica, en la construcción de archivos feministas y en el uso de la categoría de rexistencia para construir nuevas herramientas de investigación útiles para enfrentar el fenómeno del feminicidio. III. En el tercer capitulo, se analiza el caso de Ciudad Juárez como paradigmático para entender cómo se (re)produce la estructura en la que se ha generado y permitido el feminicidio. IV. En el cuarto capitulo, se analiza el caso del Estado de Guanajuato como paradigmático para entender cómo se reconfigura el modelo de Ciudad Juárez en un contexto sociopolítico y económico neoliberal, dando vida a ciudades Juárez contemporáneas, y cómo en este contexto cambian, volviéndose más brutales, las violencias feminicidas...
The subject matter of the present PhD thesis is to analyses feminicide in Mexico from the interrelation between traditional forms of violence against women and contemporary forms developed in a social, political and economic neoliberal context. Our object of study encompasses too researching feminist political practices born to counteract such a violence.The content consists of four chapters:I. In the first chapter I go through a historical/critical revision of the feminicide category in order to build up the theoretical frame and be able to envision the methodological change that feminist research has contributed with to the study of the diverse feminicide violence. Besides, two more useful categories are built to analyses the phenomenon: the Juarez cities of our time and the concept of rexistence.II. The second chapter deals with a feminist methodological proposal based on archaeological excavation, the creation of feminist archives, and the application of rexistence as a category that helps to create new research tools to tackle the feminicide phenomenon.III. The third chapter analyses the case of Ciudad Juarez as a paradigm to understand the way is (re)produced the structure that allows feminicide’s generation and its incidence.IV. The four chapter contents the particular case of Guanajuato state as a paradigm to understand the way the Ciudad Juàrez model is reshaped in a neoliberal sociopolitical and economic context, giving birth to contemporary Ciudades Juàrez.
