Abstract
Aunque las relaciones de parentesco son una realidad universal para todos los seres humanos, los conceptos de “familia” y de “vínculo familiar” dependen tanto de la región geográfica, como del momento histórico al que se hace referencia. Por otra parte, la idea de “parentesco”, kinship en inglés, es considerado un vínculo entre personas, prácticamente siempre ligado a lazos biológicos de consanguinidad. Si por un lado los conceptos de familia y parentesco pueden afectar al dónde y con quién un individuo será enterrado, el pensamiento inverso es también posible. El lugar y la persona con quien está enterrado un individuo pueden informarnos acerca del parentesco entre él y sus descendientes y en relación con una comunidad, con otros individuos de la misma necrópolis, o incluso con los que están enterrados en la misma tumba. Así, los rituales funerarios y de enterramiento pueden representar una posible filiación de parentesco biológico (u otros tipos de relaciones sociales)...
Although kinship relationships are a universal reality for all human beings, the concepts of "family" and "family bond" depend both on the geographic region and the historical moment to which it refers. On the other hand, the idea of "kinship" is considered a link between people, always linked to biological ties of consanguinity. If, on the one hand, the concepts of family and kinship can affect where and with whom an individual will be buried, reverse thinking is also possible. The place and the person with whom an individual is buried can inform us about the relationship between his/her and his/her descendants and concerning a community, with other individuals from the same necropolis, or even with those who are buried in the same tomb.Thus, funeral and burial rituals may represent a possible biological kinship parentage (or other types of social relationships)...
