    • English

Valladolid Chancery as the representative of the Old Regime Judiciary System and warrant of traditional privileges (such as the special protection of the Esgueva Hospital in Valladolid or the desire to keep purity of blood), as well as for its falling in disgrace and loss of prestige and territorial power, internal and military pressure, at the same time as its members suffer from poverty and hatred, being under pressure by the local military power by means of control over their wages, being the victims of the people's contempt, and being scorned at for being mere puppets of the French army.
