    El presente estudio indaga sobre los perfiles actuales del amicus curiae y su importancia en el despliegue de la justicia constitucional. Analiza asimismo su utilidad como instrumento para viabilizar la participación ciudadana en el debate judicial en torno a asuntos de interés institucional y social, y evalúa su aporte cualitativo al acervo argumental de los tribunales internos e internacionales de derechos humanos, sobre la base del crecimiento de los espacios de interacción del derecho constitucional, el derecho procesal constitucional y el derecho internacional de los derechos humanos.

    This study investigates the current profiles of the amicus curiae and its importance in the deployment of constitutional justice. Also analyzes its usefulness as an instrument of viability of citizen participation in the judicial debate around issues of social and institutional interest, and evaluates its qualitative contribution to the lines of reasoning of the domestic and international human rights courts, on the basis of growth opportunities for interaction of Constitutional Law, Constitutional Procedural Law and International Human Rights Law.
