    Este artículo, que se divide en dos partes, analiza, como su propio nombre indica, el incidente excepcional de nulidad de actuaciones -regulado en el art. 228 LEC tras su modificación por la Ley 6/2007- en el ámbito del proceso civil. La primera parte aborda un análisis más bien teórico de la institución, examinando su historia, regulación y, por supuesto sus requisitos. La segunda parte tiene una vocación práctica, y su objetivo es exponer los supuestos en que más frecuentemente cabrá plantear un incidente excepcional de nulidad de actuaciones en el proceso civil, analizando sus posibilidades de éxito en función de la Jurisprudencia existente en la materia. Finalmente se exponen las conclusiones a las que se llega tras la investigación realizada, analizando los problemas que a juicio de la autora plantea esta regulación del incidente excepcional de nulidad de actuaciones, y tratando de aportar posibles soluciones.

    This article, which is divided into two parts, examines, as its name suggests, the exceptional incident of nullity of actions �performances void in Art. 228 LEC after its modification by Law 6/2007� in the field of civil procedure. The first part approaches mostly a theoretical analysis of the institution, examining its history, regulation and, of course requirements. The second part has a practical vocation, and aims to expose the assumptions on which more often it will be necessary to raise an exceptional incident of nullity of procedural steps in the civil process, analyzing the possibilities of success depending on the existing Jurisprudence in the matter. Finally, we report the conclusions reached after the investigation, examining problems that in the opinion of the author raises this regulation of the exceptional incident of nullity of proceedings, and trying to contribute possible solutions.
