This paper traces the process by which it was forming the basis programmatic discourse that supported the various European social democratic party organizations. In particular, between the end of World War II and the two subsequent decades. The aim of these organizations was to occupy an intermediate place in the polarization between the capitalist West and communist East. They sought to survive politically without the need to adhere to "exclusively" to any of the dominant poles. To meet the objective proposed in this paper, we analyze the debates and programmatic changes that resulted in the European socialist party organizations. This will be both individually and collectively, through the main tool with which counted on the geopolitical stage:

      The Socialist International.
