  • Resumen
    • This paper examines the curricula of library and information science education in Nigeria with a view of determining its present state of content of its courses offered and how it affects the present graduates produced in the universities with respect to the labour market for librarians in this age of computerisation / digitisation. The curricula of three universities as well as National Universities Commission (NUC) minimum standards for university library and information science schools provided the needed data. The result shows that there are ICT courses in the curricula but not covering some courses taught and the personnel are not readily available for the proper implementation of the good curricula developed.
