    El ensayo analiza algunos elementos de la propuesta ética habermasiana comprometida con su enfoque de las relaciones entre religión y política. El ensayo expone, en primer lugar, apartes del discurso teórico central de Habermas, los contrasta con otras propuestas suyas y algunas hegelianas sobre el tema y sopesa ambos planteamientos a la luz del reto foucaultiano sobre el oficio del filósofo entre lo cognitivo habermasiano y la pragmática que impone el poder político, en este caso, del Estado Vaticano. En segundo lugar, el ensayo presenta algunos factores demostrativos de la importancia que tiene el problema del poder dentro del aparato eclesial vaticano y, por último, ofrece una muestra casuística de la forma en que el Estado Vaticano ejerce diversos micro poderes interviniendo negativamente sobre el aparato estatal colombiano, susceptibles de ser observados también en otros países latinoamericanos.

    This essay evaluates some of the ethical hypothesis of Habermas related with his conception of religion and politics relationships. First, the essay develop some of the central theoretical aspects of Habermas` hypothesis, after they are contrasted with some other habermasian aspects about religion and politics relationships and so with some of correlated Hegelian hypothesis, and all of them are finally confronted with foucoultian dilemma between cognitive and pragmatic responsibilities of philosophers here connected to the political influence of the Vatican State. Second, the essay develop some hypothesis around the problem of political power exercise in the Vatican State apparatus, and finally it tries to expose some empirical aspects of Colombia and other Latin-American countries as an experimental case evidencing the hypothesis about the Vatican State obstructive intervention within civilian state structures.
