El alcance del derecho a la intimidad en la sociedad actual

    Este artículo tiene como objetivo acercar al lector al estudio del derecho a la intimidad, resaltando algunos pronunciamientos de la jurisprudencia constitucional en los cuales la Corte Constitucional ha delimitado el concepto y el alcance de esta prerrogativa. De la misma forma, tomando como referente los supuestos de vulneración al derecho a la intimidad que la Corte Constitucional ha reiterado en algunos de sus pronunciamientos, se estudia la relación de este derecho con los derechos fundamentales a la información, el buen nombre y la honra. Finalmente, se presentan algunos puntos de encuentro y desencuentro entre los derechos a la intimidad y la autodeterminación informativa.

    This article has as aim bring the reader over to the study of the right to the intimacy, highlighting some pronouncements of the constitutional jurisprudence in which the Constitutional Court has delimited the concept and the scope of this prerogative. Of the same form, taking the suppositions of violation as a modal to the right to the intimacy that the Constitutional Court has repeated in some of its pronouncements, we study the relation of this right by the fundamental rights to the information, the good name and the honor.

    Finally we present some points of meeting and misunderstanding between the rights to the intimacy and the informative self-determination.
