Los filósofos del derecho en Colombia en la primera mitad del siglo XX

    El artículo presenta una revisión de la filosofía del derecho en la primera mitad del siglo XX en Colombia planteando dos posibles hipótesis de reconstrucción:

    una restringida, que pretende reunir los antecedentes de los filósofos académicos en un sentido profesional, y otra ampliada que quiere incluir diversos pensadores más allá de la restricción que implica la disciplina filosófica. Aunque el autor reconoce la validez de ambas hipótesis, se inclina por la segunda para los efectos de renovación de la enseñanza de la filosofía del derecho en las facultades de derecho. Presenta también un inventario de algunos de los más relevantes autores nacionales y extranjeros que marcaron la producción filosófica en el periodo indicado. Finalmente, insiste acerca de la necesidad de revisar el propio pasado filosófico en Colombia como un paso necesario para llevar a cabo una reflexión filosófica auténtica sobre los fenómenos jurídicos.

    The article presents an overview of the philosophy of law in the first half of the twentieth century in Colombia to raise two possible scenarios of reconstruction: the first, which aims to bring together the history of academic philosophers in a professional sense, and the other includes a larger number of thinkers beyond the restrictions that implies the philosophical discipline.

    Although the author recognizes the validity of both hypotheses, he prefers the second alternative for the purpose of renewal of the teaching of philosophy of law in schools of law. The article also presents an inventory of some of the most important national and foreign authors that influenced the philosophical works in the above-mention period. Finally, he insists on the need to reassess our own philosophical past in Colombia as a necessary step to carry out a genuine philosophical reflection on legal phenomena.
