¿Etica normativa o etica de situación?

    El autor establece la distinción entre Ética Normativa (o de normas generales) y Ética de Situación, como dos formas posibles de considerar el valor moral de una acción. La finalidad del presente artículo se halla en mostrar que ambos puntos de vista son de por sí unilaterales y no hacen justicia al ser. Como solución se ofrece una síntesis de ambos extremos en una Ética Ontológica, que responda plenamente al ser, por atender tanto a su estructura general como a sus detalles individuales.

    En primer lugar, se analiza con más detención la oposición existente entre la Ética Normativa y la Ética de Situación y, luego, se examinan los supuestos de las mismas. Finalmente se expone la posición del autor. Las normas cambiantes según las circunstancias, sólo pueden sostenerse en el marco de las normas generales, a las cuales se determinan en concreto según las distintas situaciones, sin que naturalmente esta determinación concreta sea deducible de modo abstracto de la norma general en cuanto tal.

    The author highlights the difference between Normative Ethics (or general norms) and Situational Ethics as two possible ways to judge the moral value of an action. This paper aims at showing that both points of view are inherently unilateral and do no justice to the being. By way of solution, a synthesis of both extremes is provided in Ontological Ethics, fully concerned with the being as it serves not only its overall structure but also its individual details. First, the prevailing opposition between Normative Ethics and Situational Ethics is tackled in depth followed by an analysis of their supporting claims. The changing norms, according to given circumstances, can only be supported within the framework of general norms. Though the former are conditioned by the latter in the different situations, no abstract inference of the general norm as such can be made from such concrete determination.
