    Este artículo estudia el endeudamiento de la desaparecida Unión Soviética en la década de los ochenta del siglo XX. Para ello se analizan distintos indicadores que permiten, por un lado, conocer la importancia que tenía la deuda exterior para el país y, por otro lado, entender la creciente desconfianza de los acreedores hacia una economía a la que, hasta entonces, se le consideraba muy solvente.

    This article studies the indebtedness of the former Soviet Union in the 1980's. To that effect, it reviews the various indicators required, on the one hand, to realise the importance of the foreign debt to the country at that time, and on the other, to understand the growing mistrust of creditors towards an economy which up to that time was considered very solvent.
