    El trabajo analiza la aprobación, disposiciones constitucionales y vigencia de la Constitución de 1980, además del contexto en que se negociaron y concretaron las 54 reformas constitucionales de 1989. Fijando el análisis en la reforma constitucional específica al artículo 5° inciso 2° de la Constitución, interpretando su sentido y alcance.

    This article analyzes the approval, contents and application of the 1980 Chilean Constitution, as well as the context in which the 54 amendments of 1989 were negotiated and passed. Emphasis is given to the interpretation of article 5, subsection 2 of the Constitution.
