    El artículo analiza los derechos humanos en la Carta Fundamental del Ecuador y sus garantías, considerando la situación de los tratados internacionales en general y los derechos humanos en particular, estableciendo su procedimiento de incorporación, ubicando su posición entre las fuentes del derecho y considerando su aplicación por la jurisdicción constitucional ecuatoriana.

    The present article analizes Human Rights and their guarantees in the Constitution of Ecuador, considering the situation of international treaties in general and human rights in particular. Attention turns then to procedures for their incorporation, placing international treaties within the system of law and considering their application by the Ecuadorian constitutional jurisdiction.
