  • Due to high pollution levels, the vehicle industry has presented ecological alternatives as substitutes for the traditional car. These new alternatives have their own effect on the translation of texts in this developing field: the translator must deal with new concepts and terms. The purpose of this article is to present equivalent Spanish and German terms as a result of a systematic, non-prescriptive, terminological research. The research and text corpus used to extract the terms are described. Some aspects of the terminology are explained. The reader may also consult the provided glossary.
