| Resumen: | El objetivo de este texto consiste en exponer la concepción weberiana de la universidad
como institución. En primer lugar, se describirán algunos rasgos de las universidades alemanas
del II Reich. En segundo lugar, se explicará la prohibición de la profecía profesoral por parte de
Weber. En tercer y último lugar se evaluará la cuestión de la Wertfreiheit. The aim of this paper is to make sense of the Weberian understanding of the university as institution. Firstly, some features of the German universities during the II Reich will be described. Secondly, the ban of the “professoral prophecy” by Weber will be explained. Thirdly, the question of the Wertfreiheit will be assessed. |
