Eje temático 2.- Tiempo de exilio en la novela gráfica: una mirada crítica desde la identidad femenina

Abstract

RESUMEN Desde la novela gráfica, manifestación plástica y multidisciplinar contemporánea, y en particular, la creada por mujeres, analizaremos temas complejos y actuales cómo son el desarraigo, el exilio, el racismo y la indefensión. Reflexionaremos sobre las vivencias íntimas de las féminas que migran. Las sendas de tinta que recorreremos serán La Perdida de Jessica Abel, QP Éramos nosotros de Power Paola, Pérsepolis de Marjane Satrapi, Sansamba de Susanna Marín, Sofía y el Negro de Judith Vanistendeal, Rolling blackouts. Dispatches from Turkey, Siria and Iraq de Sarah Gliden y Bienvenue à Calais, Les raisons de la colère de Marie Françoise Colombani y Patria de Nina Bunjevac. Con ellas dibujaremos un mapa que muestre la visión de éstas dibujantes artistas y escritoras, desde el corazón o desde la entraña. Además este plano se verá auxiliado conceptualmente por dos obras más: Emigrantes de Shaun Tan, y Nómades de Xoxé Tomás, sí bien realizadas por hombres las tendremos en cuenta, en el caso de la primera por sus protagonistas, mujeres que se ven forzadas a salir de sus países de origen y en relación a la citada en segundo lugar, por cómo se transcribe la importancia que ocupan: la familia, la capacidad de adaptación a otra cultura, costumbres e idioma, en la vida de éstas “ínsulas errantes”. Descubriremos a partir de éstas identidades, sí la visión que trasfieren éstos creativos y estéticos relatos gráficos, coinciden con ciertos planteamientos teóricos actuales de temática social y de género ante las imperantes circunstancias históricas.
