    Se estudian los cambios más importantes -tenidos lugar durante las últimas décadas- en la utilización del área agrícola del bajo Iregua. Se comprueba que la distribución espacial y la superficie ocupada por los diferentes cultivos, así como el descenso en extensión del espacio agrícola se relacionan con la existencia de nuevos regadíos, el crecimiento de la ciudad de Logroño, la dinámica del mercado y la disponibilidad de mano de obra.

    In this work has been studied the most important changes occurred in the agricultural area of the low Iregua concerning to its utilization during the last decades. We have found out that its spatial distribution and the occupied surface by the different crops, as well as the decreasing extension of the agricultural space are related to the appearing of new irrigated lands, the increase of Logroño, the dynamic of the market and the availability of manpower.
