Entre el derrotismo y el compromiso: reflexiones sobre las (re)acciones del estudiante ante la Universidad española actual

    El presente artículo toma como protagonista al estudiante universitario y tiene como objetivo reflexionar sobre el papel que ha de cumplir en la actual universidad española. Para ello se revisan tres cuestiones. En primer lugar, cuál es la imagen que se ha proyectado sobre la figura del estudiante. En segundo lugar, el texto plantea una serie de estrategias sociales, políticas y formativas a partir de las cuales el alumno puede encontrar su espacio dentro de la universidad y comprometerlo en su quehacer diario: la consecución de su rol de protagonista, el control sobre su propio proyecto de vida y trabajo y la internacionalización de sus aspiraciones (el acceso a los beneficios que reporta el mundo globalizado, por razones formativas y/o laborales).

    En tercer lugar, se bosquejan cuáles serán los desafíos futuros que plantea la universidad, entre los que destacan dos: la consideración de la universidad virtual y la movilidad universitaria (para lo que se revisa el estado de la cuestión en torno a los programas universitarios más significativos).

    In the present article, questions related to the student of universities emerge and the aim consist on reflect on the leading role which he has to fulfil in the actual context of Spanish University. In order to get this objective, three topics are revised. Firstly, the image which it has been projected about the figure of the Spanish University student. Secondly, the text sets up a series of social, political and formative strategies, from which the student can find his space inside the university and compromise with his work of day-by-day: the prosecution of the role of main character, the control of his own project of life and work and the internationalisation of his aspirations (as is the access to the benefits which carry the globalized world, due to formative and/or working reasons).

    Thirdly, the future challenges launched by the context of University are drafted. Among them, two of them are revised more profoundly: the consideration and emergency of virtual universities and the universitarian mobility (for which the state of the question about the main programmes is analysed).
