Este artículo ofrece una pequeña contribución al estudio del léxico amazighe (o bereber) que subsiste en el español de Canarias. El examen etimológico, practicado sobre una veintena de voces, opera desde la lingüística histórica y comparativa a través del análisis interdialectal de la lengua amazighe.
This paper aims to be a small contribution to the study of the Amazigh vocabulary surviving in the Spanish spoken in the Canary Islands. The etymological study, carried on a group of twenty terms, is based on the principles of historical and comparative linguistics by means of an interdialectal analysis of the Amazigh language.
