Abstract
This paper examines the formation of contracts in the United
States, specifically the sale of goods regulated by the Uniform Commercial
Code (UCC). The purpose is informative and analytical, and lays the
foundation for further analysis of new trends in e-commerce. It begins with
the roots of the regulatory bodies governing contracts in the United States
and then analyzes the laws of offer and acceptance
