  • Resumen
    • In order to reach the highest possible quality level in the diffusion process of the Pharmacotherapeutic Guidebook (PTG), we proposed ourselves, along with the Computer Department, to design and to create an electronic guidebook that had easy data update and maintenance, that did not demand the dedication of too much time and resources, that did not double the amount of work from the pharmacy department's personnel and that provided easy and fast data checkup; all these features by using the means available to us at the hospital: the Intranet and the stock management program LandTools. The created PTG, is part of the Pharmacy Portal inside the center's Intranet. It is structured into general information menus, into indexes (by therapeutic group, by active principle and by alphabetical order of its specialties) and into a drug description of those ones that comprise the guidebook (composition, conservation and administering pathways, characteristics, etc.). The data are obtained directly from the realtime management system's drug master file. The guidebook's maintenance occurs on a daily basis at the Pharmacy Department and it takes place in one single database, therefore, the data update and diffusion is immediate and permanent
