Abstract

56
A humanisitic appreciation of cinema, that is, attentive to its cultural identity, implies at least three premises. First: the existence of limits within cultural thresholds in order to apreciate the narrative and dramatic sense -stable and open- of that work. Second those tresholds are shaped in the confluence of the cultural tradition in wich the film is inserted, with the intellectual and cultural tradition in wich the audience, analists and interpreters partucipate. Third: the cultural identity of a movie has a more stable correlation, with regard to the identity and the habitual andemonitial dispositions of each of us, as persons, than with respect to the historical and social circunstances of a given moment.
