  The formation of teachers has been being object of many studies since the 1980.s. For this reason, we find it indispensable an analysis of the conceptions that is basing the teachers' formation, marking the pedagogic work, the teacher-student relationship, the school-community relationship and the teaching methodology. Therefore, we believe that it is necessary to put the formation of teachers on discussion, not being restricted to the researchers of the area, but involving the institutions that form these teachers, their teachers, their students and the society as well. Forming professionals that can exercise a profession with ethics and criticity is not a simple task, it requires that all the subjects involved in that process can understand that the formation extrapolates the formal teaching institutions and that it expands to the whole society. To accomplish with this bibliographical study, we could understand that the teaching formation is a process that is built along the teachers. life trajectories and their formation, and fundamentally, it is related to the conceptions of the man and the world that we intended to form.

  A formação para docência vem sendo objeto de muitos estudos desde os anos de 1980. Por isso, entendemos ser imprescindível uma análise das concepções que vem fundamentando a formação de professores, marcando o trabalho pedagógico, a relação professor-aluno, a relação escola-comunidade e a metodologia de ensino. Acreditamos que a formação de professores precisa ser posta em pauta, não sendo restrita aos pesquisadores da área, mas envolvendo as instituições formadoras, seus professores, seus alunos e a sociedade. Formar profissionais que possam exercer uma profissão com ética e criticidade não é uma tarefa simples, requer que todos os envolvidos nesse processo possam compreender que a formação extrapola as instituições formais de ensino e ramifica-se na sociedade. Ao realizarmos este estudo bibliográfico, pudemos compreender que a formação docente é um processo que se constrói ao longo da trajetória de vida e formação de professores, e fundamentalmente, está relacionada à concepção de homem e de mundo que pretendemos formar.
