    Pretendemos mostrar en este artículo las difíciles relaciones entre la noción de autoridad en el sentido más cercano al modelo de familia patriarcal propio de la edad moderna y el proceso de otorgamiento de la dote matrimonial a las mujeres. Si bien ésta ha sido habitualmente interpretada eamo indicativa del poder y la jerarquía en las familias, el estudio integral de la dote no como un acto aislado o autónomo en el ciclo social y patrimonial de la familia, sino como un proceso en el que intervienen diversos agentes, diversos factores y experiencias también diferentes entre la paz y el conflicto, muestra al fin la existencia de una red de autoridades en plural más que en singular y por ende una familia tendente hacia lo patriarcal pero de complicada legitimación en la práctica.

    We intend to show in this article the difficult relations among the notion of authority in the sense more close to the family patriarcal and process of granting of the marital gift to the women. Though this habitually it has been interpreted as indicative of the power and the hierarchy in the families, the integral study of the gift not like a remote act in the hereditary and social cycle of the family sinó as a process in which they intervene diverse agents, diverse factors and also different experiences between the peace and the conflict, sample finally the existence of an authority and therefore a Patriarcal of complicated recognition in practice.
