The first one was administered to the gypsy population, in which register socioeconomic, cultural and residential indicators. The second was administering to the population autochthonous non gypsy; in that survey we study the emotions, attitudes and behaviours toward gypsy. The results show that the gypsies present high segregation figures and that the main causes of this situation are the prejudices and discrimination that suffer on the part of the autochthonous non gypsies and of their economic capacity and, in smaller grade, the preferences for the own group.
