  • Resumen
    • A cross-curricular project, 'Indigo - the Colour Blue', aims to acquaint pupils with the topic from two different perspectives, that of chemistry and that of art, and follow this up with an exhibition of the results achieved. Alternating phases focusing on content and method from both art and chemistry ensure a variation of perspective in addition to cross-linking. The responsibility for the particular perspective, whether art or chemistry, lies with the individual subject teacher. Team-teaching is an option. In the forefront of this cross-curricular project, characterised by its task sharing and teamwork, is the emphasis on active, experimental and creative approaches. In addition to educational criteria such as pupil activity and subject collaboration, a quantitative study was carried out of 100 pupils on the creativity aspect. The preliminary results show a positive evaluation on the whole and demonstrate that it is possible to put a cross-curricular project into practice.
