Resumen de A aula de ciências nas séries iniciais do ensino fundamental: ações que favorecem a sua aprendizagem

  Este artigo tem como objetivo discutir a importância das atividades investigativas e das interações discursivas em sala de aula no ensino de Ciências. Essas atividades podem ser entendidas como situações em que o aluno aprende ao envolver-se progressivamente com as manifestações dos fenômenos naturais, fazendo conjecturas, experimentando, errando, interagindo com colegas, com os professores, expondo seus pontos de vista, suas suposições, e confrontando-os com outros e com os resultados experimentais para testar sua pertinência e validade. Esses processos de ensino-aprendizagem têm no início da escolarização uma importância ainda maior, pois auxiliam os alunos a atingir níveis mais elevados de cognição, o que facilita a aprendizagem de conceitos científicos. Ao se utilizar o instrumento analítico desenvolvido por Mortimer e Scott, foi possível revelar as dinâmicas interativas e os fluxos de discurso em salas de aula das séries iniciais do Ensino Fundamental, ajudando a compreender aspectos importantes da prática docente e do processo de aprendizagem científica dos alunos

  The purpose of this article is to discuss the importance of the investigative activities and of the discursive interactions in a classroom during the Science teaching. These activities can be understood as situations in which the student learns, getting progressively with the observation of natural phenomena, conjecturing, experimenting, making errors, interacting with classmates, with specialized people, stating his points of view and hypotheses and confronting them with others and with the experimental results in order to test their effectiveness and their pertinence. Their relevance is even greater at the beginning of the schooling process, since such activities help students to reach higher levels of cognitions, and, by doing so, they make it easier for them to learn scientific concepts. The analytical instrument developed by Mortimer and Scott allowed us to reveal the alternative dynamics and the speech flow in a third grade classroom of a elementary school, helping to understand important aspects of the teaching practice and the scientific learning process of the students
