  • El trabajo presenta el texto de un catecismo manuscrito vasco y el fragmento de una homilía localizados en Ukar (Valdizarbe). El interés del documento radica en el carácter testimonial del mismo, por tratarse de una zona en la que ya no se habla euskera, y no deja de ser significativa la fecha tardía, 1865, que registra el cuaderno. El lenguaje es semejante al que se hablaba en Pamplona y su comarca. RESUME Ce travail présente le texte d'un catéchisme manuscrit basque et un fragment d'une homélie trouvés á Ukar (Valdizarbe). Uintérét du document se trouve dans son caractére testimonial, puisqu'il s'agit d'une zone dans laquelle on ne parle pas la langue basque. La date registrée dans le cahier est toujours signi-ficative. Le langage est similaire á celui parlé á Pampelune et aux alentours. ABSTRACT This study offers the text of a catechism hand-written in Basque together with a fragment of a homily, both found in Ukar (Valdizarbe). The interest of the document lies not only in its symbolic importance, the area being one in which the Basque language is not spoken, but also in the fact that the note-book bears the date 1865, which can be regarded as significantly contempo-rary. The language used is similar to that spoken in Pamplona and district.
