  • Resumen
    • In this paper the author tries to delimit the concept and meaning of «Ciceronanism» in the field of Renaissance Latin. Ciceronianism is the most rigorous expression of the Renaissance mind, i.e. the programme, which qualified for writing latin correctly, was based on the imitation of the best user of the latin language: Cicero (or his contemporaries, for lack of ciceronian examples). On the other hand, the peculiar characteristics of ciceronianism coincide with those of Renaissance Latin and consistently they can be found in any humanist, including Erasmus.
