Resumen de La investigación en las Escuelas Universitarias de Magisterio

El trabajo aborda la necesidad de que el profesorado, de cualquier nivel educativo, asuma funciones investigadoras en su aula. Pasa revista a las objeciones que se ponen a esta opción y trata de demostrar que no se da incompatibilidad entre docencia e investigación.Se analizan las exigencias para la realización de investigaciones por parte de los profesorados, centradas en la capacitación inicial, la existencia de un clima investigador en los centros de formación de profesores -tanto inicial como permanente-, la necesidad de infraestructura y la provisión de estímulos e incentivos a los profesores investigadores.Se propone, por último, una temática para la formación, y se indica que éste es el momento, por las circunstancias que en él concurren, para que las Escuelas Universitarias de Formación del Profesorado de EGB aborden con decisión la incorporación a los planes de estudio de objetivos relacionados coon la formación de los futuros maestros como investigadores en el aula.

This paper deals with the necessity of staff of any educational level to assume research functions in their classes.It reviews the objections posed to this option and tries to demonstrate that there is no incompatibility between teaching practice and research.It analyzes the different teaching staff requirements for the carrying out of research, centred in the initial training, the existence of a research atmosphere in the Teacher Training Centres -both initial and In-service-, the need for basic resources and the provision of stimuli and inventives for the teachers undertaking research.Finally a thematic for the training is proposed and it is indicated that now is the moment -because of the circunstances- for the Teacher Training Colleges to resolutely consider the incorparation into their Plans of Study of aims related to the Training of future teachers as researchers in the class
